  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: My Lord,
    I do reside indeed, having scarcely {ever} for these years lost sight of the Church.

  2. Other benefices: I have no Benefice, my Lord, Ugborough doth not deserve the Name.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I cannot.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice every Lords Day with a Sermon both in the morning & afternoon.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four Times in the year; viz at Christ-mass at Easter, at Whitesuntide and about Michael=mass. Communicants about sixty.

  6. Catechising of children: Once a year. Generally soon after Christmass.

  7. Church fabric: Every Thing in good Repair & Account.

  8. Glebe terrier: My Lord, Both the Glebe & Tithes are impropriated, reserving to the minister a Stipend of £20 a year & a Cottage with about three Acres of Land. A few years since indeed by a Legacy of £100 under the will of a Mrs Carey (of the Crocum-Family I think) with £200 rais'd by the Impropriator & my-self £200 from {the} Queen=Annes Bounty a Purchase was made which brings in about £20 a year neat. A Terrier of this Farm shall be made if your Lordship so directs.

  9. Number of families: About one hundred & Seventy.

  10. Chapels: None.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: None.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: None but a common writing-school.

  13. Charity: None that I know of.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Institution is dated September the 7th 1754, and My Priests orders January the 15th 1737. I am my Lord your Lordships very dutifull Servant
