  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: Mr Notley (the Vicar) resides the most Part of his Time at Oxford: I am the Curate, and do reside personally at the Vicarage-House: the Salary £40 per Annum & Surplice-Fees.
    We have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: Mr Notley has no other Benefice.

  3. Divine service at other churches: At Present, I do perform divine Service in the Parish Church of Iddesleigh.

  4. Frequency of divine service: I perform divine Service and preach twice on the Lord's Day; and Prayers on Saints Days.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administer'd eleven Times in the year. The Number of Communicants about 4 Score.

  6. Catechising of children: Three Times in the year (viz) Palm Sunday, Rogation Sunday, and the Sunday next before Whitsunday.

  7. Church fabric: Church and Chancel are in good Repair; and every Thing for divine Service are decent and in order.

  8. Glebe terrier: We have a Terrier agreeable to the Tenor of the 87th Canon.

  9. Number of families: About a Hundred & Fifty.

  10. Chapels: No Chapel within the Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no Papists within the Parish as I know of. We have a Presbiterian Meeting-House; the Teacher Mr: Castle.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have three Schools wherein Children are taught to read and write. We have some Houses left for the Reparation of the Seats in Church, and are manag'd according to the Direction of the Donors. No Parochial Library.

  13. Charity: We have some Benefactions left for Charitable uses; and they are duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: Mr: Notley was inducted to the Living of Hatherleigh about Michaelmas last. The Date of my Priest's Orders it the 3d Day of August 1772.
