  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I live at Martock in Somersetshire & teach the Free-grammar-School in that Parish. My Curate's Name is John Burgess, who resides at Black-Torrington - his Salary for serving my Church is £26 per Annum. No Lecture founded in the Church at Halwill.

  2. Other benefices: I hold a Rectorial Chapelry, within the Vicarage of Kingsbury, to which it is a Daughter Church, endow'd with the great & small Tithes of a little Hamlet for its Support - to which I was instituted some years before I was presented to Halwill.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I serve my own tithe Chapel of East Lanbrook together with the Mother Church at Kingsbury, of which I am Curate, which lies about two Miles from the Place of my Residence.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Service only once a Day, the Income being too small to pay for double Duty.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four Times in the Year; the Number of Communicants about thirty.

  6. Catechising of children: To be answer'd by my Curate.

  7. Church fabric: In good Repair, the Chancel having been lately new built & all Things decent for divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have a written Account of the Customs &c of the Parish - & apprehend that there is a regular Terrier in the Register's office.

  9. Number of families: About sixteen.

  10. Chapels: Not any such Place of Worship.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: Neither Roman Catholics nor Dissenters.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: None.

  13. Charity: None, to my Knowledge.

    Priest's orders and institution: Ordain'd Priest the first Day of June, 1760 - Instituted to the Rectory of Halwill the twenty fifth Day of June, 1768.
