  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do constantly reside upon my Cure, and in my Vicarage House. I have at present no Curate on my Rectory of East-Allington but have given a Title to my Cure thereof, to Mr. William Wells who will offer Himself to your Lordship, a Candidate for Deacons Orders, at your Ld. Ship's ensuing Ordination.

  2. Other benefices: Yes, The Rectory of East-Allington, about two miles and half distant from Blackawton.

  3. Divine service at other churches: Yes, once every Sunday (whilst I have no Curate) at East-Allington.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice every Lord's Day with a Sermon each Time unless when I officiate at East-Allington.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four Times between Sixty & Seventy.

  6. Catechising of children: On the Sunday after Whitsunday, as often as the parishioners will Send their Children and apprentices for that purpose.

  7. Church fabric: The Church, Chancel, and Churchyard are in very good Repair, and well kept; and all Things for Divine Service are Decent.

  8. Glebe terrier: A Terrier of the Glebe Lands &c is already lodged in the Registry of Exeter.

  9. Number of families: About one Hundred and Sixty.

  10. Chapels: We have no Chapel of any kind.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: None.
    None of any Denomination.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: Only a private School wherein Children are taught to read and write, and an Almshouse, but no way endowed. We have no Parochial Library.

  13. Charity: Only two Benefactions one of Ten pounds per Annum to the Vicar which is punctually paid. The other of Two Shillings a week to the poor & Thirty Shillings per Annum to the Vicar & ten Shillings to the Parish Church which Sums have been withheld near Ten years.
