  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do reside in the vicarage House.

  2. Other benefices: I have two Benefices, Witheridge and Thelbridge adjoining Parishes or rather Thelbridge is situated in the midle of Witheridge.

  3. Divine service at other churches: At Thelbridge.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice on every Lords day.

  5. Frequency of communion: Ten times every year the number of Communicants at Easter were about one Hundred and twenty.

  6. Catechising of children: Sunday in the afternoon in the Summer Season.

  7. Church fabric: In good Repair and all things decent.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier.

  9. Number of families: About one hundred and forty seven.

  10. Chapels: None.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There is no Papist nor dissenter of any denomination in ye Parish.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: None.

  13. Charity: There is Some Some [sic] money the interest of which is given among poor Families as directed by the donors.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was ordained Priest ye 22d of September 1745 and was instituted the 23d of September 1745 a Letter directed at Witheridge near Tiverton Devon will lately be conveyed to your Lordships most Humble Servant Tho: Melhuish.
