  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside at Bath, on Account of my Health, having been an Invalid & unable to do Duty many Years. My Curate resides in the Parsonage House <so as properly to discharge his Duty, tho he has a House in ye next parish where he sometimes resides likewise.> he has no Licence, I find, but was approved of by the late Bishop, as my Curate; His Salary is £35 per Annum with part of ye Small tithes, the Easter Offerings <Surplice Fees> & the Glebe at an under Rent, making ye whole Advantages of the Curacy worth, as I apprehend, upwards of £50 per Annum. I have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have the Vicarage of Wembdon in the Diocese of Bath & Wells.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I have not been able to serve any Church for several Years.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice a Day with a Sermon alternately in ye Morning & Afternoon.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four Times a Year - & ye Number of Communicants is from 20 to 50 at different Times.

  6. Catechising of children: Between Lady Day & Michaelmas.

  7. Church fabric: They are.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier.

  9. Number of families: About 40.

  10. Chapels: I have no Chapel.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have no reputed papists nor any Meeting House for dissenting Congregations.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is a small School kept by a poor Man; but no Alms House, Hospital, or charitable Endowment.

  13. Charity: No Lands, Tenements, or other Benefactions have been left for any pious & charitable Uses.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Institution to ye Living of Paracombe bears Date June 9. 1762 my Priest's Orders Sep:r 20 1747.
