  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I personally reside for ye most Part in my Parsonage House, where I have Servants to Attend me: and Sometimes I reside, at my House about two miles Ride from Kings-Nympton: And it is Supposed that a frequent Change of Air, hath vastly been of Service to ye Asthmatick Complaint that I have long laboured under.

  2. Other benefices: I have only ye Benefice of Kings-Nympton.

  3. Divine service at other churches: Never: unless to Assist Deacons, or Sick, or Absent Clergymen.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is constantly performed in my Church with a Sermon in ye morning & upon every Lords Day: upon every Festival & Fasting Days except upon urgent occasions to ye Contrary.

  5. Frequency of communion: Eight Times a year: twice at Christmas; twice at Easter; {twice at Easter} twice at Whitsunday: & twice at Michaelmas. The Number of Communicants are About 60.

  6. Catechising of children: I always Catechise during ye Summer months.

  7. Church fabric: The Church and Chancell are not only in Good Repair, but very Elegant. The Church-Yard is well kept; & All things are Decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: There is a Terrier Already lodged in ye Registry.

  9. Number of families: There are About 100 Tenements in my Parish but many of them inhabited by two or three Persons only.

  10. Chapels: There is one Chapel yet remaining belonging to a Farm house; It has been said yt it was formerly Served by ye minister of ye Parish with an Annuity from ye Chamber of Exeter.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: We have but one Papist, a married Woman, lately come; but All ye rest of her Family are constant attendants at Church. I never had any one Dissenter in my Parish.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: We have no School, but for little Children; nor Any of ye remainder of ye Above Articles.

  13. Charity: We have £20 left by One Mr Toms, as it is reported; and £50 left by ye late Revd Mr Hele: £5 Left by ye late Mrs Vawden; & £100 left by ye late Mr Abraham Tossel: All which Benefactions are duly Applied.
