Chanter 232A, 8

1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I do reside personally upon my Cure, & in my Parsonage House: I have no Lecturer in my Parish.

2. Other benefices: I have but one Parish from which I derive any emolument. I hold the Living of Catstock in Dorset for the benefit of a Brother, who charges himself with the care of it.

3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at no Church but my own at Eggesford.

4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd twice at my Church on the Lord's day with a Sermon in the Morning.

5. Frequency of communion: The sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administerd four times in the year. The whole number of Communicants in the Parish 56: the usual number at Each time of communicating about 24 or 25.

6. Catechising of children: In the afternoons of the Lord's day in Summer.

7. Church fabric: My Church & Chancel are in good repair, except some damage lately done to the roof of the latter for repairing which the materials are procur'd & Laborers engag'd: my Church-yard is well kept & I have every thing decent for Divine Service.

8. Glebe terrier: I cannot hear of any, & therefore will take care to provide one.

9. Number of families: Thirty.

10. Chapels: There is no Chapple at all within my Parish.

11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have not any Dissenter in my Parish of any denomination, nor meeting-house <for> dissenting congregations.

12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is no School in my Parish, except a private one for instructing Children to read: no endowment of any kind <specified above> nor Parochial Library.

13. Charity: There have been no donations of any kind within the above description that I ever heard of.
