  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside in the Vicarage House. No Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: The Benefices of Cullumpton & Northill.

  3. Divine service at other churches: At no other.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Twice on the Lords day with a sermon morning & Afternoon - Prayers twice a Week, & on all Saints days.

  5. Frequency of communion: On the first Sunday in every month, as well as Easter, Whitsunday, Michaelmas & Christmas, sometimes there are between two & three Hundred Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: In Lent.

  7. Church fabric: Yes.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have no Terrier as yet come to hand, but will endeavour to procure one.

  9. Number of families: There are between three & four Thousand Inhabitants.

  10. Chapels: None.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: No Papists, One Presbyterian meeting House, with a great number of other meeting Places, but of what Denomination or who are their Teachers, they are too various to be exactly ascertained.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There is a public School, & one Alms House for the Support of which some Lands did once belong, but by some means or other no Title Deeds are now to be found.

  13. Charity: There are many Charitable Benefactions, & they are duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: I was Instituted to the Living of Cullumpton on the 19th of Decr 1777: And ordained a Priest on the 20th Septr 1767 - A Letter directed at Cullumpton will best find your Lordship's, faithful Servant. John Veryard Brutton.
