  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside personally upon my Cure and in my Vicarage=House.
    I have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have but one Benefice.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service in my own Church only.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church twice every Lord's Day, with a Sermon in the Morning and the Afternoon.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administred monthly. The Communicants are from 100 to 150.

  6. Catechising of children: Sometime in the Summer on Sundays in the Afternoon.

  7. Church fabric: My Church and Chancel is in good Repair, and Churchyard well kept. And I have all things decent for divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have a Terrier of the Glebe Lands, Houses &c.

  9. Number of families: About two hundred and seventy.

  10. Chapels: Ugbrooke, the Seat of the Right Honble Lord Clifford is in my Parish, where there is a Chapel.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: When Lord Clifford is resident at Ugbrooke, I suppose there may be about 27 or 28 reputed Papists in the Parish of Chudleigh. There is one Presbiterian Meeting-House. Mr Jones is the Teacher.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: Here is one publick Grammar School, which, I believe, is duly managed according to the Direction of the Founder. Here is also a Writing=School, and an Alms=House. Here is no parochial Library.

  13. Charity: Here are some Benefactions left for Charitable Uses, which are duly applied, as far as I know.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Priest's Orders are dated 20th September 1747. Institution to the Vicarage of Chudleigh is dated 12th June 1752.
