  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I reside on my Living {and} of Cheldon, in the Parsonage House. Being incapable of Serving my Church myself, thro Infirmity, I have the Assistance of my son <William> who is Licenced, Salary £30 per Annum & Surplice Fees &c.

  2. Other benefices: I have two Small Livings viz Cheldon & Meshaw, Meshaw is distant from South Molton about five Miles. Cheldon is about four Miles from Meshaw, near Chulmleigh.

  3. Divine service at other churches: No.

  4. Frequency of divine service: I have Prayers & Sermon at both my Churches every Sunday; and at other times as occasion my require.

  5. Frequency of communion: Four times in every Year. There generally are between twenty & thirty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: In the Summer Season.

  7. Church fabric: Yes,

  8. Glebe terrier: No. I obeyed your Lordship's Injunction and mentioned it to my Parishioners but they refused signing it.

  9. Number of families: Sixteen.

  10. Chapels: There is none.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are none.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: No.

  13. Charity: Yes, and duly applied.
