Residence, curate and lecturer: My Lord,
I do not reside personally upon my Cure; I reside at Clannaborough. I have a curate, whose name is Samuel May, and I allow him thirty five guineas per annum for his Salary. I have no Lecturer.
Other benefices: I have another Benefice called Clannaborough, near Crediton.
Church fabric: The church and chancel are in pretty good Repair, and the Churchyard tolerably well kept. All things are decent for Divine Service.
Glebe terrier: I have seen an old imperfect Terrier of the Glebe Lands and Houses. I will endeavour to get a new one made and delivered in properly signed at the visitation.
Chapels: There is within this Parish no publick Chapel: But a private chapel there anciently was belonging to the Family of the Acklands, where, when any of the Family resided at it, Divine Service has been performed.
School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: I have no publick or charity School in my Parish; nor any Alm's House, Hospital or charitable endowment nor any parochial Library. But it may be proper to take notice that a small Tenement of about three Pounds a year has been left to the clerkship of this parish which the present clerk now enjoys.
Charity: No Lands, Tenements, or other Benefactions have been left for any pious or charitable uses.
