  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: The Living of Ashburton being under Sequestration for payment of a Debt, the Vicar does not reside: The Curate (who is duly licenc'd) resides in the Vicarage House, & has a Salary of fifty Pounds per Annum. There is no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have only the Curacy of Ashburton.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I do not perform divine Service at any Church besides my own.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd in my Church, twice on the Lord's Day with a Sermon both in the morning & afternoon: Also on every Wednesday & Friday, & on Saint's days.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administered on Easter Sunday, Whitsunday, Trinity Sunday & Christmas Day, & on the first Sunday every month: The Number of Communicants are generally about one hundred & thirty.

  6. Catechising of children: I catechise the youth of my Parish, after midsummer.

  7. Church fabric: The Church & Chancel are in good Repair, & the Church is well kept. I have all things decent for divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: I am inform'd there is a Terrier of the Glebe Lands &c: but if I find there is none, one shall be made out & deliverd in at the Visitation.

  9. Number of families: The Number of Families in my Parish are as nearly as I can collect, five hundred & eighty four.

  10. Chapels: There is a Chapel within my Parish, but not endow'd.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have two reputed Papists in my Parish. Here is also a Meeting House for the Presbyterians; their Teacher is the Revd George Walters.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: There are publick Schools in my Parish for reading, writing, & Grammar Learning all which are I believe duly manag'd. I have no parochial Library.

  13. Charity: There have been many charitable donations to my Parish at different times, & as far as I know, they are all duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Priest's Orders are dated the Thirtieth Day of July 1775.
