  1. Population and dissenters: There are about two hundred Families in this Parish: about threescore of which Families are Dissenters, viz. Presbyterians. There is no Meeting:House of Dissenters in this Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is no Publick or Charity School endowed or otherwise maintained in this Parish; but there are three Children that are taught to read by the Charity of Mr Edward Fairchild and thirteen Shilling per Annum paid to the Church Wardens for their Teaching which Children are taught accordingly.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There are Almshouses, and there is an Hospital or workhouse where the Poor are taken Care of, viz. particularly in Clothing. There is ten Shillings per Annum allowed for repairing a particular part of the Church by Christopher Lethbridge Esqr and one Pound and six Shillings per Annum in Bread to the Poor forever and the like sum of one Pound Six Shillings by Sir John Ackland.

  4. Residence upon cure: There is neither Parsonage nor Vicarage House belonging to this Cure, but I do reside within the Parish.

  5. Curate: This is answered by the foregoing Answer.

  6. Divine service at other churches: I do not perform Divine Service in any Church besides my own.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed twice a Week viz: Wednesdays in the Morning and Saturdays in the Evening besides Holidays: and twice every Lord’s Day with a Sermon both in the Morning and Evening.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Holy Sacrament is administred four times in the Year of which Easter is one.

  9. Number of communicants: There usually receive the Sacrament as there did indeed at Easter last past about threescore.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are catechized on Sundays in the Afternoon in the Summer as the Days are then long.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is a private Chapel in this Parish which is called Ralegh Chapel about half a Mile distant from the Parish Church served by Mr George Foss Chaplain to John Basset Esqr the Proprietor of the Tythes.
