  1. Population and dissenters: The Number of Families in our Parish is One Hundred & Twelve; Not one Dissenter of any Denomination, Nor any Meeting House.

  2. Public or charity schools: We have no Charity School, only a Publick one maintain'd by the Parents of the Children, in number <usually> between twenty & thirty, whom ye Master takes Care to Instruct in the Ch: of England Catechism.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: We have not in our Parish any Alms-house, Hospital or any Lands or Tenements, left, either for the Repair <of ye Church> or other Pious use.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside upon my other Parsonage House at Heanton.

  5. Curate: I have lately made choice of the Revd Mr John Martyn, for my Curate, who waits upon your Lordship at this time, for your Approbation & License: I shall allow him thirty pound a year. He does not at present live in ye Parsonage-House, but resides at a Farm-House, near the middle of the Parish.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is perform'd, twice every Lord's day, with a Sermon in the Morning, frequently on Holy-Days & upon Wednesdays & Friday's in Lent.

  8. Frequency of communion: Seven times at least.

  9. Number of communicants: We have about Two Hundred & Fifty Communicants. Of these about Fifty usually receive: & at Easter last not more yn Thirty Communicated.

  10. Catechising of children: My New Curate <[illegible deletion]> Catechises ye children every Sunday in the Afternoon.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: We have no Chapel within our Parish.
