  1. Population and dissenters: The Number of Families is about Ninety Five – Of which there is One Non-juring, & another Presbyterian – No Meeting house.

  2. Public or charity schools: No Publick, or Charity-School endowed, or otherwise maintained.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is an Alms-house Supported rather volunterily than by Endowment, out of an Estate left for Charitable uses, under the Management of Feoffees, in which I neither know, nor have heard of any Abuses, or Frauds comitted. No Lands, or Tenements left for the Repair of our Church, or other pious use.

  4. Residence upon cure: I do not Reside personally upon This Cure, but upon my Cure in Exeter.

  5. Curate: I have a Residing Curate.– His Name is Mr Henry Legassicke.– He live adjoining to the Church – I have no Vicarage-house here. I allow him Thirty pounds a year, Easter Duties, & all other Perquisites.– I apprehend that He is duly qualifyd according to the Canons in that Behalf. But as yet He is only Deacon.

  6. Divine service at other churches: Vide Kingston annexed.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine service is perform'd on Sundays, & Holy-days.– On every First Sunday in the Month twice, on other Sundays Once, with a Sermon, in the Morning.– Vide Kingston annex'd.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Holy Sacrament of the Lord's Super is administred Four times yearly.

  9. Number of communicants: Allowing Three to a Family, the number of Communicants will be Two Hundred, Eighty, & five.– About Twenty or Thirty do usually receive, which was about the Number last Easter.

  10. Catechising of children: Children are Catechized in the Long Days after Whitsunday. Not always the same number of times.– There is not too much alacrity either in sending, or appearing.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is One Chapel. Vide Kingston annexed.
