  1. Population and dissenters: Fourscore – we have no Dissenters – nor any Meeting House of Dissenters in the Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: We have no School.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: We have an Alms-house, no Hospital, or other Charitable endowment – We have lands left for The Repair of the Church – Under the Direction of Feoffees – I do not know neither have heard of any abuses or Frauds committed in the management of 'em.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside personally upon my Cure, in the Parsonage House, about four months in the year; the rest at Stoke=fleming.

  5. Curate: My Curate (there not being any convenience for him to reside in Dipford) lives in a neighbouring Parish about a mile from the Church – Samuel Hart – He is duly qualified according to the Canons – My allowance is thirty pounds a year and the Perquisites, and when I reside att Dipford which is four months in the year, he resides att Stoke Fleming in the Parsonage House att my expence.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Every Lords Day, with a sermon in the Morning and afternoon.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four Times in the year.

  9. Number of communicants: Upwards of Threescore – about three or four and Thirty – att Easter last past, about forty three.

  10. Catechising of children: My Curate catechises in the Summer two or three months – His Parishioners send their Children and servants, as soon as they have learned their Catechism, to repeat it publickly in The Church.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: Here is no Chapel within the Parish, neither any Chapel in Ruins.
