  1. Population and dissenters: Twenty Seven Families, no Dissenters of any Denomination.

  2. Public or charity schools: No.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: No.

  4. Residence upon cure: I do not personally reside. By your Lordship Permission I live as a private Chaplain to Francis Fulford Esqr of great Fulford near Exeter.

  5. Curate: I have nominated William Clare Clerk as my Curate qualified according to the Canons. He may live in the Parsonage House when it is finish'd, which is now repairing. I allow him Twenty Six Pounds a year.

  6. Divine service at other churches: Mr Clare every other Sunday preaches at Ore, a Parish adjoining to Bendon, to assis[t] his Father who is Old & infirm.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Twice every Sunday he reads Prayers, and preaches in ye morning.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four times at Easter, Whitsuntide, Michaelmass and Xstmass.

  9. Number of communicants: About Thirty Communicants. Three or Four & Twenty Communicated last Easter.

  10. Catechising of children: Every other Sunday during ye Summer.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: No.
