  1. Population and dissenters: There are about 50 Families in my Parish; No one Person of which is publickly known to be a Dissenter.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is an Endowment left by one Mr Ware, of about Three Pounds and fifteen Shillings yearly, payable out of an undivided moiety of an Estate in Clist Honiton for the instructing five poor children in Reading and providing them Books till they come to be nine years old: Which Children I have visited and instructed myself: And have particularly directed their Schoolmistress to teach them their Catechism &c.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There are several little Sums, amounting in the whole to about five Pounds by the year settled upon the Poor of my Parish, which I believe is duly distributed among them without Fraud.

  4. Residence upon cure: I do personally reside upon my Cure, and in my Parsonage House.

  5. Curate: I have no Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: I do not ordinarily perform Divine Service at any Church beside my own.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church on every Sunday throughout the year twice, likewise on Days of Thanksgiving and humiliation appointed by Authority &c. With two sermons each Sunday during the Summer half year, and a Sermon in the Morning during the Winter, according to the custom of the Parish.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Holy Sacrament of the Lords Supper is administred in my Church on the first Sunday in every month, and on all the great Festivalls.

  9. Number of communicants: There are about one Hundred Communicants in my Parish, about sixteen of Which do usually receive, but on the great festivals and particularly at Easter last, their number might amount to about Twenty five.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children of my Parish have been used of a long time to be Catechised in my Church on the Sundays in the afternoon during Lent. I have taught and Explained to the young People of my Parish their Catechism at my own House; and do not find the Parishioners unwilling to send their children and servants to me for that End.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: I have no Chapel within my Parish.
