Chanter 225A, 86-87

  1. Population and dissenters: I have in my Parish about 40 families, 2 of which are Dissenters under the Denomination of Anabaptists. There is no Meeting-house in my Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is a publick School in my Parish endowed with £10 per Annum for teaching the poor Children reading, writing, and arithmetick. They are duly instructed, and every Saturday catechiz’d after the Church Catechism.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is an Alms house likewise endowed for 2 widdow women, who are constantly pay’d 6s a month each.

  4. Residence upon cure: I do reside personally upon my Cure, and in my Vicaridge house.

  5. Curate: I have no Curate.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: On all Sundays and some holy days, twice every Lords day, with a sermon in the morning and afternoon, except in the Shortest days.

  8. Frequency of communion: At the three usual festivals.

  9. Number of communicants: I have usually upwards of 20 persons that do communicate, and about that number last Easter.

  10. Catechising of children: They are mostly catechized in the winter season when there is no Sermon in the Afternoon.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: I have no Chapel within my Parish.
