  1. Population and dissenters: There are Two hundred & sixty two Families, of these nine are {Presbyterians} Dissenters who profess themselves Anabaptists.

  2. Public or charity schools: There is no Publick nor Charity School.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There is an House belonging to the Church, the Income of which is properly applied. The Poor=wardens have ye management of it.

  4. Residence upon cure: I reside at Powderham.

  5. Curate: I have a residing Curate (Mr Wm Hatherly) who is duly qualified. He does not live in my Vicarage house. I allow him thirty five pounds a year.

  6. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at no Church besides my own.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed Every Wednesday & Friday, and twice Every Lord’s Day, with a Sermon both parts of ye Day.

  8. Frequency of communion: The Holy Sacrament of the Lords Supper is administred Every month.

  9. Number of communicants: There are two hundred Communicants of these thirty five usually receive. The number of Communicants last Easter was about forty.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are catechiz’d from Midsummer to Michaelmas.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is no Chapel within my Parish.
