  1. Population and dissenters: There are about one Hundred & twenty families in my Parish & there are only two men, Dissenters, & they are call’d Quakers; There’s no licens’d or other Meeting House in my Parish.

  2. Public or charity schools: There’s no Publick or Charity School in my Parish.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: There’s no Almshouse &c in my Parish.

  4. Residence upon cure: The Rector (Mr. Thomas Giffard) does not at present reside upon his Cure for several reasons, but lives at Wilsford in ye County of Wilts: & has the care of the Churches.

  5. Curate: The Rector has a residing Curate, whose name is John Longman, duly qualifyed according to the Canons, He lives with his Family in the Parsonage House, & is allowed forty pounds a year.

  6. Divine service at other churches: No.

  7. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church twice every Lord’s Day with two sermons in the Summer & one in the morning in the Winter & prayers are read on particular Holy days.

  8. Frequency of communion: Four times in a year, on the three Great Festivals and on the first Sunday after Michaelmas.

  9. Number of communicants: There are fifteen or sixteen Communicants in my Parish, & (as well as I can remember) about twelve communicated last Easter.

  10. Catechising of children: The Children are catechiz’d in Lent.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: There’s a little minory Chapel in my Parish about three miles from the Church, but Divine Service has not been performed in it time immemorial.
