- Population and dissenters: I know not what number of familys are in this parish, nor of Dissenters in it, nor of any Meeting house.
- Public or charity schools: I know of no publick or Charity=School in this parish.
- Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: I know of no Almshouse hospital or other Charitable Endowment in this parish.
- Residence upon cure: I doe reside personally on my Cure & in the parsonage house.
- Curate: I am ye Residing Curate & my name is Wm Sympson and doe Live in ye Parsonage house & am allowed forty Eight pounds a year.
- Divine service at other churches: I perform divine service in no other church but this of Ashwater.
- Frequency of divine service: Divine service is perform’d twice every Lords day in this Church, with a sermon in ye Morning.
- Frequency of communion: The holy sacrament of ye Lords Supper is Administred in this Church four times in ye year.
- Number of communicants: The number of ye Communicants I know not, nor what number rec’d at Easter last past.
- Catechising of children: The Children are Catechised in the Church as often as they are sent for yt purpose or are sent to be instructed.
- Chapels or chapels in ruins: Here is no Chapel in this parish.
