By Tom McManamon

Appendix 1: Houses with seats in the Church Gallery, 1731

Two Priestgrounds are shown. The first is at Sunderleigh, the second is at Zeal. Many houses, particularly in the town, were not named, and the name of the current or latest occupant is given: John Alderman; late Abraham Badcock's; William Cleeve; Dinah Gooding; John North; late John Holecombe; late Thomas Norman; John Philleps; late Bat Woods.
